At D-TEC, we design chassis that combine strength and innovation, ensuring you are always prepared for the toughest challenges. The D-TEC Container Carrier for 40ft containers is a true lightweight powerhouse, with a standard tare weight starting at just 3,700 kg. But it can do more. Thanks to newly added options, it is now possible to transport not only 40ft containers but also a wide variety of other container sizes – all the way up to 45ft.
Lower weight, higher return
With an unloaded weight starting at just 3,780 kg, D-TEC offers a single-beam gooseneck chassis that ranks among the lightest solutions in the market. The construction is up to 300 kg lighter than comparable trailers. Thanks to the low build height, it is possible to stay below the legal 4-meter height limit even when transporting High Cube containers. This results in reduced air resistance and lower fuel consumption, generating savings of up to €1,500 per year (based on 140,000 km of annual operation).
More range, also for electric transport
The renewed D-TEC Container Carrier is ideal for medium-sized and large fleets that demand greater planning accuracy and operational flexibility. For companies transitioning to electric transport, the chassis offers an additional advantage: thanks to its low weight and aerodynamic design, it enables up to 10% more driving range when combined with electric tractors. This means fewer charging moments and more kilometers per battery cycle.
Safe and sustainable
Safety and sustainability are central to our design. That is why we have implemented specific features to minimize the risk of damage. At the front of the chassis, the locking pins are engineered in such a way that they cannot remain in the open position. By ensuring the pin automatically returns to the correct position, damage to the truck and/or loading dock is prevented. This allows you to take to the road with confidence and maximum efficiency.
