Flexible and efficient container transport with the D-TEC LHV Combidolly

D-TEC offers the ultimate roadtrain solution for container transport. In the Netherlands, this roadtrain is also known as LZV or Eco Combi. The D-TEC LHV combination is suitable for transporting either 3 x 20 ft containers or 1 x 20 ft and 1 x 40 ft container.

Adaptable to Any Situation

The D-TEC LHV consists of a Combidolly, with the option to add a second trailer: a Flexitrailer, Portmaster, or a 40 ft chassis. You can choose the second trailer based on your LHV routes and whether you want to use the second trailer for additional flexibility.

Carry More, Save Time, and Reduce CO2 Emissions

The main advantage of an LHV combination is its increased carrying capacity. This not only saves fuel but also reduces CO2 emissions. It’s possible to achieve up to a 30 percent reduction in CO2 emissions compared to a standard combination. Additionally, you gain flexibility in transport. You can disconnect one of the trailers and proceed to a different unloading address where the LHV combination might not be permitted. Another benefit is the ability to load or unload 2 containers simultaneously at a loading dock.

The D-TEC Combidolly features a 2-axle dolly to which you can attach a second trailer. A 20 ft container can be transported on the front part of the dolly. Because the trailer is divisible, you can always position the container against the loading dock. The D-TEC Combidolly includes a rigid liftable axle at the front, while the rear has a rigid axle and a self-steering axle.
