The Combitrailer® is an innovative, divisible trailer specially developed for the transport of 2 x 20 ft containers. By splitting the Combitrailer®, you can simultaneously load or unload two 20 ft containers at a loading dock, significantly increasing speed and flexibility. Additionally, the Combitrailer® is also suitable for the transport of 40 ft and optionally 45 ft containers. In short, a versatile choice for every transport need.

D-TEC Combitrailer CT-521-S: Specially Designed for Heavy Loads

With the CT-521-S, you have ultimate flexibility when transporting heavy 20 ft containers. This chassis allows containers to be transported on both the front and rear sections without overloading the drive axle. With a 2-axle tractor, you can easily load up to 26,000 kg on the front section, and with a 3-axle tractor, even up to 35,000 kg. This ensures you always have maximum capacity and control, no matter the challenge ahead.

The D-TEC Combitrailer® S-Line consists of two trailers, each equipped with its own kingpin and license plate. Additionally, we have optimized the axle load distribution, allowing the vehicle to be used seamlessly for international road transport within the permissible weights of all European countries.

Ultimate Control and Flexibility

The CT-521-S is designed for ultimate control and flexibility on the road. This chassis features two self-steering stub axles on the front section and one on the rear section. When both chassis parts are coupled, you drive with five axles, three of which are steered, ensuring maximum maneuverability and stability. If you only use the front section, both stub axles are automatically locked. When using the rear section, the last axle remains active as a self-steering stub axle. This smart configuration gives you the power and precision to tackle any transport challenge.
